Mechanical Fitter – Shutdown Maintenance

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of maintenance services to the mining industry, delivering shutdown, planned and breakdown maintenance across various mine sites.

With a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and reliability, they are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their team for ongoing shutdown maintenance work.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant assets
• Performing shutdown maintenance, repairs and servicing of mechanical equipment
• Maintaining and repairing CHPP (Wash Plant) and fixed plant equipment
• Supporting maintenance activities across various mine sites
• Assisting with rigging and equipment handling as required
• Working safely and effectively as part of a team in a mining environment

What You Will Need

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Demonstrated experience in CHPP (Wash Plant) maintenance
• Gas Monitor Training Certificate
• Confined Spaces Training Certificate
• Working at Heights Training Certificate
• Permit Cluster Training Certificate
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and team-based maintenance activities
