Mechanical Fitters

Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking experienced 3x Mechanical Fitters for upcoming shutdown and maintenance works in Queensland, commencing from mid-October.

Key Details:

• $63/hr + super
• $94.50/hr overtime and weekends
• Work with a well-established industrial maintenance contractor
• Commencement: 12/10 (potential extension into November)

Scope of works is expected to include:

• Gearbox overhauls and inspections
• Steam turbine minor overhauls
• Maintenance and shutdown activities

To be considered, you will have:

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
• Previous shutdown, maintenance or overhaul experience
• Experience working on rotating equipment, gearboxes or turbines highly regarded
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol test
• Working at heights, Gas Test, Confined Spaces
