KLC Rigging & Mechanical Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused Mechanical Fitters to join our growing team.

We have ongoing work available across Brisbane and surrounding areas, with interstate work opportunities also available for the right candidates.

MECHANICAL FITTERS – $60/HR

SCOPE OF WORKS

Our current projects involve:

• Pump station fit-outs
• Wet well fit-outs
• Mechanical equipment installation
• Pipework and mechanical installation
• Installation of pumps, valves, supports and associated equipment
• Mechanical installation works across major infrastructure projects
• Working from engineering drawings and site requirements

📍 WORK LOCATIONS

Brisbane & Surrounding Areas

Interstate Work Available

🚐 Company ute and tools provided.

Travel between project sites may be required depending on project requirements, including interstate travel for suitable projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Mechanical Fitting qualification
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space Ticket
• Previous experience in mechanical installation

🔧 MECHANICAL FITTER REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters who:

• Are experienced in set-out and marking for supports, equipment and pipework
• Can efficiently read and work from engineering drawings
• Have experience with mechanical installation and fit-outs
• Have experience working on pump stations, wet wells or similar infrastructure projects
• Can install pumps, valves, pipework, supports and associated mechanical equipment
• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in their workmanship
• Can work independently when required
• Have a strong understanding of site safety requirements
• Are reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
• Are willing to travel interstate when required

⭐ HIGHLY DESIRED

• Yellow Card
• Telehandler Ticket
• EWP Over 11m
• Experience working on water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• Previous pump station or wet well experience
