VACANCY – MECHANICAL / INDUSTRIAL CAD DRAFTSMAN

TSF Engineering Services, a leading engineering company specializing in Heat Exchangers, Fin Fan Air Coolers, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Piping & Steel Structures, is looking for an experienced and technically capable Mechanical / Industrial CAD Draftsman to join our team in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D Mechanical & Industrial drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare fabrication, assembly, GA and detail drawings from engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Prepare accurate BOQs / MTOs (Material Take-Offs) from drawings.
• Calculate quantities of plates, pipes, tubes, structural steel, fittings and other materials.
• Assist engineers in preparing fabrication and site-related drawings.
• Revise drawings according to engineering/site requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing numbering, revisions and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QC, Procurement and Fabrication teams.
• Visit project sites when required for measurements and drawing verification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• DAE Mechanical / Mechanical Engineering / equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/industrial engineering drafting.
• Strong command of AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience in preparing BOQ / MTO and material quantity calculations.
• Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, material specifications and fabrication details.
• Knowledge of steel structures, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping or industrial equipment will be an advantage.
• Good MS Excel skills for BOQ and quantity calculations.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineers and workshop/site teams.

Preferred Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience with fabrication drawings + BOQ/MTO preparation, rather than candidates with AutoCAD skills only.
