Professional Fabrication Services Ltd is an Anglesey based long standing company in the steel fabrication manufacturing sector, who also support many companies with maintenance on various local sites.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanical biased individual to join our small team to provide support by way of general maintenance of a very varied scope of projects and daily tasks within our domain.

Our company is predominately focused on manufacturing steel components for the construction, marine sector and the food industry and extends to the servicing process equipment e.g. feed delivery systems, building cladding, security and safety gates and general site maintenance in various outlets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general planned maintenance of the company's workshop and it's machinery and services equipment, to include bandsaws, guillotine, brake-press, dust collector and fume extraction systems.

Site work will be addressed as and when required, utilising a well equipped-mobile vehicle to support the repairs carried out on their premises.

We are looking for an experienced individual who likes a varied scope of duties and can work independently or within a team to meet client needs. Be resourceful when on solo projects to overcome barriers sometimes with limited resources in the field.

As a potential candidate, you will be a competent general fitter/maintainer, also experience of the following would be an advantage:

Working at height with mobile equipment i.e. MEWP, cherry pickers, Man-Box

Access equipment including portable work platforms (PASMA), scaffolding

Basic minor MMA welding/brazing

Basic electrical knowledge

Cladding repairs

Sheet forming/folding and developments

Compressed gases equipment

Overhead crane operator

Slinger/signaller

First aider

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
