Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for supporting the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and plant equipment.
• This includes creating technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, performing basic engineering analysis, and assisting in prototype testing to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• The position also supports the implementation of maintenance programs, troubleshooting activities, and improvement projects for utilities equipment (boilers, compressors, generators, cooling systems), wastewater treatment facilities, production line machinery (IQF, freezers, conveyors, packaging equipment), and building structures.
• Additionally, the role involves monitoring plant utilities consumption (power, water, fuel), analyzing system performance, and recommending energy-saving and efficiency-improving initiatives.
• Proper documentation, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are essential. The position contributes to continuous improvement efforts to ensure optimal plant operations at cost-effective levels.

Qualifications:

• Registered Mechanical Engineer
• Fresh Grads are welcome to apply!
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with simulation tools for stress and thermal analysis
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.g. machining, welding, or additive manufacturing)
• Internship experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)
