Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• 38 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in dry-mix, cement-based products,

chemicals or a process manufacturing plant.

• Rotating equipment expertise — hands-on with mixers, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, seals, couplings and

material-handling systems.

• Working knowledge of pneumatics, compressors, and mechanical alignment; welding and fabrication

ability.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and carry out planned and breakdown maintenance independently.
• Understanding of maintenance safety practices (LOTO, work permits) in an industrial environment.
• Willing to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns as required, based at the Coimbatore factory.
• Reliable, hands-on and methodical, with good record-keeping discipline.
