Position: Maintenance Engineer Mechanical

Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical
Experience: 35 Years

Company: a manufacturer of cast iron / ductile iron fittings, automotive castings, heavy engineering components, pump parts and industrial castings  , I would recommend creating industry-specific JDs that attract foundry, casting, automotive, valve, pump, and heavy engineering candidates.

Role Overview

Responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of foundry and machining equipment through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures in molding, melting, sand plant, machining, and material handling systems.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, conveyor, compressor, and utility systems.
• Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams for planned maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
