Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Woodworking Machine Maintenance Engineer to handle the preventive and breakdown maintenance of woodworking and furniture manufacturing machinery. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of woodworking machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize machine downtime.
• Carry out regular inspection, servicing, lubrication, and alignment of machines.
• Identify machine faults and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain machine maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine-related issues.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and trial runs.
• Maintain critical spare parts and coordinate with vendors for required spares.
• Ensure all machines are maintained according to safety and operational standards.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in woodworking / furniture manufacturing machinery maintenance.
• Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance is an added advantage.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on maintenance experience in woodworking machines, modular furniture machinery, panel processing machines, CNC machines, and furniture manufacturing equipment will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
