Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Descriptions:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling mill machinery and mechanical equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns to minimize production downtime and ensure smooth operations.
3. Schedule job planning, arrange manpower, and maintain proper records of spare parts usage.
4. Follow up on tasks or urgent work until completed and reach the target
5. Assist in equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and improvement projects when required.
6. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and relevant industry standards.
7. Perform other maintenance-related duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in steel manufacturing, rolling mill, or heavy industry.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
4. Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin will be an advantage when working with expatriates from the mainland
5. Possess own transport to work at Bukit Raja, Klang
