Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Die and Mold)

About the role

Responsible for planning, executing, and improving die and mold maintenance activities to ensure optimum tooling performance, equipment reliability, and continuous production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for tools, dies, and molds
• Perform die repair, troubleshooting, assembly, and disassembly
• Maintain tooling records and spare parts inventory
• Conduct precision measurements and inspections to ensure tooling accuracy
• Support production downtime reduction initiatives
• Develop, propose, and implement tooling and equipment improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members

About you

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical/Vocational course related to Machining, Tool & Die, Mechanical Technology or related field
• Extensive experience in die and mold maintenance and repair
• Knowledgeable in press machine processes, overhead crane, and forklift operations
• Skilled in precision measurement, inspection, machining, grinding, welding, and fitting
• Certifications in welding, crane, or forklift operation are plus
