Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on high-speed printing presses and packaging equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime and maintain factory safety standards
• Diagnoses mechanical breakdowns, gear/cylinder alignments, and pneumatic/hydraulic system faults on production machinery
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots printing presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, or flexo/rotogravure machinery), coaters, and slitting equipment
• Performs mechanical alignment, gear systems, cylinder adjustments, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and drive systems
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce machinery downtime on high-speed production lines

About you

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (D3/S1) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Technician in offset or flexible packaging printing manufacturing
• Hands-on expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing presses, coaters, and slitting equipment
• Proficient in mechanical alignment, gear systems, cylinder adjustments, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and drive systems
• Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial gauges) and shop tools
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting, alignment, bearing replacement, and preventive maintenance skills
• Able to work shifts and team work
• English communication preference
• Industrial Mechanical / K3 BNSP Certification is a plus
• Willing to be placed in PIER, Pasuruan.
