Mechanical Project Engineer

Mechanical Project Engineer | Denmark Relocation from IRL to DK

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a strong engineering team delivering major projects. The role will oversee mechanical engineering activities from design coordination and procurement through installation, quality control and commissioning.

Experience & Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Senior Trades qualification or equivalent.
• 4+ years' project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Proven delivery of small to medium mechanical projects within commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical or data centre environments .
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to walk down mechanical systems and verify compliance with specifications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical submittals .
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems and procedures .
• Strong project planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, record-keeping and administration skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, mentor and support other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical design, installation and commissioning.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals, including RFIs.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors and subcontractors on technical and commercial matters.
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage procurement, materials and subcontractor works.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and project documentation.
• Conduct quality inspections, snagging and P&ID/system walkdowns.
• Support progress reporting, test packs and project commercial tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.
