Mechanical Project Engineer / Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer or a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be skilled in project management and possess a strong mechanical engineering background, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. She/he will serve as a key technical liaison between our customer’s design team, and manufacturing facilities across China and Mexico. This role also requires excellent communication skills, and fluency in both English and Chinese.

Job Responsibilities:

 - Understand customers’ design requirements and assist them in resolving technical issues.

 - Collaborate with the client’s design engineers to ensure the manufacturability of new products.

 - Provide clients with DFM reports for new designs and assist them in updating technical drawings.

 - Communicate and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

 - Ensure that product design and manufacturing comply with client requirements and standards.

 - Ensure that mold manufacturing meets client requirements and standards, and manage the mold manufacturing schedule effectively.

 - Assist in resolving manufacturing and technical issues.

 - Collaborate with overseas teams to establish new production lines for sheet metal stamping, injection molding, and enclosure assembly

 - Prepare technical documentation and reports

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Experience: (1) Project Engineer: 3-5 years in project management, preferably in the EMS sector. -(2). Senior Project Engineer: 5+ years with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong background in design review, new product introduction
  Skills:

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and speaks Mandarin

Location:

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to SHEN ZHEN.

Travel Requirements:

• May need to stay in Mexico for project support for 1 – 3 months at a time.
• Occasional travel to manufacturing sites in Asia, Europe, USA, and to customer locations as project demands.
