Mechanical Project Manager (High-Rise Building)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical systems projects (HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing) for high-rise building developments.
• Plan project schedules, control project budgets, and monitor overall project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and approve Shop Drawings, As-built Drawings, and installation works to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve on-site construction issues while effectively managing project risks.
• Supervise project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and creative solutions for project issues, defects, and construction challenges.
• Mentor team members and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Aged 40–50 years.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical systems for high-rise building projects.
• Strong experience in HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Able to perform quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Strong project management, planning, and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
• Professional Engineering License (PE License) is an advantage.
