Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling tools; monitor progress and adjust schedules proactively
• Manage project budgets by controlling costs through accurate estimating, cost management strategies, and resource allocation
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project execution
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D for documentation, tracking progress, change orders, and reporting
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining a focus on quality assurance
• Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize project outcomes
• Supervise construction site activities directly or through site managers; conduct regular site inspections for safety compliance and progress tracking
• Lead project meetings to review milestones, address issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of project status

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on mechanical systems
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams across various locations effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency in project scheduling software including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project; familiarity with construction management platforms like ProCore or Prolog is preferred
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction plans related to mechanical systems
• In-depth understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with civil 3D for site layout planning or similar civil engineering tools is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively in demanding environments
• Strong leadership qualities with proven success in guiding teams through complex projects from start to finish
