Mechanical Project Manager

Job Overview
BSE Projects Ltd are a mechanical engineering company delivering HVAC and mechanical solutions to clients Nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team.

This position is for a hybrid-working role, the candidate will be expected to attend the North Wales office once per month and the candidate may be required to work from a North-West based office (location TBC) a couple of days per week, however this can be negotiated for the right candidate. The candidate will be expected to look after and deliver projects nationwide.

The interview process will be a two-stage process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete project lifecycle (ranging from pre-construction stage through to final completion & handover)
• Working closely with in-house staff, while overseeing costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.
• Reviewing contract documents and producing proposals, technical submittals, RFI's and developing CAD drawings
• Liaise and communicate with estimating, commercial & contract teams
• Attending progress meetings, design team meetings and client meetings whilst acting as a company representative
• Maintaining project variations and trackers
• Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to
• Manage site staff and sub-contractors
• Financial responsibility for projects
• Report to Operations Manager for monthly progress meetings
• Complete job costing documents & more

Requirements:

• Experience in project management and mechanical engineering
• Good level of IT skills
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Minimum 5 years + experience in a mechanical project manager role within the HVAC Industry

Desirable:

• Relevant mechanical / building services qualifications
• Experience with Asta power project or Microsoft project or equivalent
• SSSTS certificate

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

Location: Head Office is in Penrhyndeudraeth (LL48) but position is for hybrid working, with the successful applicant reporting to head office once a month.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
