Location: Navan, with two months covering a project in Galway

Salary: €80,000 to €90,000 + vehicle or allowance and pension

I’m recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for an established M&E contractor. The role will be based in Navan, with a requirement to cover a project in Galway for two months.

You’ll take responsibility for mechanical project delivery, managing site teams, subcontractors, procurement and programme through to commissioning and handover. Experience across residential, commercial, industrial or data centre projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical works to meet programme, quality and budget requirements.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is planned and delivered safely.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and other trades to resolve technical and site issues.
• Review drawings and specifications, ensuring installations meet project requirements.
• Plan procurement of plant, equipment and materials around installation schedules.
• Monitor progress and costs, working with the commercial team on variations and reporting.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing mechanical installations on construction projects.
• A relevant mechanical qualification or trade background.
• Experience in residential, commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services and site delivery.
• The ability to manage teams, subcontractors and competing project priorities.
• A full driving licence and availability to cover the Galway project for two months.
