Mechanical Project Manager

If you’re a mechanical PM who likes complex systems and wants real ownership of your projects, this one is worth a call.

A well established commercial mechanical contractor known for quality work, strong field execution, and a deep project pipeline is adding a Project Manager to lead commercial and high tech HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects from bid through closeout. You’ll own scope, schedule, financials, and client relationships, with a clear path to Senior PM and Project Executive.

What you’ll do

• Run design build, design assist, and plan and spec mechanical projects from precon through closeout
• Own budgets, cost to complete forecasting, change orders, billings, and margin
• Be the main point of contact for GCs, owners, engineers, and other MEP trades
• Partner with estimating, BIM, and the fab shop to drive prefabrication and efficient installs
• Work with foremen and superintendents on manpower, sequencing, and field issues
• Lead closeout, commissioning support, and final billing
• Mentor Project Engineers and APMs

What you bring

• 5 to 10 years as a PM with a commercial or industrial mechanical contractor (subcontractor side strongly preferred)
• Track record running $2M to $20M+ mechanical contracts
• Strong command of HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and process piping systems
• Working knowledge of CMC, CBC, and Title 24
• Full ownership of project financials and forecasting
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field and PM experience

Nice to have

• High tech, life science, data center, lab, or OSHPD / HCAI experience
• Bluebeam, MS Project, Revit or Navisworks
• LEED AP
