Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects across commercial and industrial construction. Project types may include healthcare facilities, data centers, mission-critical environments, manufacturing facilities, and other complex commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical construction background and experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, field teams, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, and RFIs.
• Oversee material procurement, subcontractor performance, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, schedule progress, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Lead project meetings, resolve construction challenges, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Support estimating, constructability reviews, and preconstruction planning.
• Manage project closeout, inspections, warranties, and final documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction.
• Strong experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and/or piping projects in commercial or industrial environments.
• Experience with projects such as healthcare facilities, data centers, mission-critical facilities, manufacturing plants, or similar complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation methods, construction sequencing, and applicable codes.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
