Mechanical QA/QC Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector to ensure that mechanical installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical installation works.
• Verify materials and equipment against approved specifications and material submittals.
• Conduct inspections and raise/close Inspection Requests (IRs), WIRs, and NCRs as required.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities and verify test results.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and the project QA/QC team.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, and documentation.
• Identify quality issues and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international/local standards and project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in MEP/mechanical contracting, preferably in the GCC.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with ITPs, method statements, MIRs, WIRs/IRs, NCRs, and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and project specifications.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Relevant QA/QC certification is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• UAE: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
