Mechanical Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for mechanical systems and heavy equipment.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and local safety regulations.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment and workplace safety.
• Monitor maintenance activities and promote safe work practices.
• Conduct safety training and maintain HSE documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Safety Engineer in construction, mining, manufacturing, or heavy equipment operations.
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, cranes, loaders, forklifts, dump trucks).
• Knowledge of HSE, risk assessment, ISO 45001, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
