Mechanical Section Manager

About the Role
Design and develop automation equipment, ATE systems, burn-in solutions, X-ray, and AOI machines from concept to production. Support R&D activities in thermal management, precision mechanics, and machine reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design machine structures, fixtures, thermal systems, and motion mechanisms.
• Develop mechanical solutions for X-ray and AOI equipment.
• Perform FEA/CFD simulations, testing, and design validation.
• Work closely with Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Support machine integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Identify technical risks and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers (Senior level).

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design for automation or equipment industry.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
• Familiar with motors, pneumatics, and motion systems.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of FEA/CFD simulation is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Thermal management and heat transfer systems.
• Burn-in ovens, thermal chambers, test sockets, and fixtures.
• Semiconductor test or electronics manufacturing environment.
• X-ray or AOI equipment design.
