Mechanical Setup (Amata City Chonburi)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Setup professional to join MINEBEA ACCESSSOLUTIONS THAI LTD. in our Amata City facility in Chonburi. This is a full-time position based on-site in Chonburi, Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment. This position is pivotal to ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently, directly contributing to the quality and productivity of our production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Core Objective: Lead the mechanical assembly, installation, and precision adjustment of production machinery, equipment, and tooling systems. Validate mechanical performance and reliability during the Pilot Line phase to ensure a smooth, high-precision transition to full-scale operations.
• Machine Assembly & Installation: Perform mechanical assembly based on engineering drawings and install machines on the production floor.
• Precision Alignment & Calibration: Adjust alignment, leveling, and mechanical parameters of components such as motors, robotic arms, and conveyor systems, as well as setup Jigs & Fixtures.
• Trial Run & Fine-tuning: Participate in pilot line trials to identify mechanical defects and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Documentation: Record setup parameters and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mechanical setup tasks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering (or Diploma with 5+ years machine setup experience), Male, age 28–35.
• Lead mechanical assembly, installation, precision alignment (robots, conveyors, jigs), trial runs, and SOP creation for pilot lines.
• Background in the Automotive Industry with a proven track record in pilot line trials or setting up new production lines.
• Strong engineering drawing reading, precision calibration, and basic PLC command knowledge for testing machine movements.
• Good command of English (TOEIC 500+) or Japanese (JLPT N3), and proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
