About the Role
Arla Foods Bahrain is looking for an experienced Mechanical Specialist to join our Maintenance team. Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns.
• Improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Perform equipment condition assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update activities in SAP/CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
• Support technical projects, process optimization, and maintenance excellence programs.
• Coach operators on technical standards and best maintenance practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of maintenance experience in the Dairy or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of dairy processing and packaging equipment.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
