Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Department: Engineering / Maintenance / Projects

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to design, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical equipment and systems. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, install, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components and identify faults or technical issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Supervise mechanical installation, repair, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with electrical, fabrication, production, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for materials, spare parts, and services.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, piping systems, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures.
