Mechanical Supervisor - Gunnedah

Mechanical Supervisor – Gunnedah | Company Vehicle + DIDO Options

Reliable Conveyor Belt has serviced mine sites, quarries, and power stations across NSW, WA, and QLD since 1973. We're growing in Gunnedah and need a Mechanical Supervisor who can run a crew on site and still get hands-on when the job calls for it.

The role

You'll coordinate daily maintenance, plan shutdowns and inspections, and work alongside your crew on pulley, bearing, and mechanical work when needed. You'll own the safety culture on site and act as the main contact for clients who expect straight answers and consistent work.

What's on offer

• Company vehicle and a salary that matches the responsibility
• Heavy overtime and paid travel across major mine sites
• Choose your roster: 3 x 12.5-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
• DIDO or local basing, your call
• A genuine path into senior leadership as we expand
• Experienced operations managers who back their supervisors
• 50+ years of stability with an Australian-owned business

What you'll need

• Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical (fabrication trades welcome to apply)
• Solid experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• The ability to coach a crew and lead by example, not just from the office
• Dogging and Rigging tickets (highly regarded, not essential)
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Confidence working independently and adapting to changing site conditions
