Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance, and site activities for MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, along with the ability to supervise technicians, subcontractors, and daily site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical site activities, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Monitor the performance of technicians, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
• Coordinate with site engineers, electrical teams, civil teams, and other departments to resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project requirements, quality standards, and UAE safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Identify technical issues, report progress to the project engineer, and assist in resolving installation challenges.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate with the store and procurement teams to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures at the project site.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical supervision within the MEP industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating site activities.
• Good knowledge of MEP installation standards, testing, commissioning, and site safety practices.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• UAE project experience is preferred.
