We have a brilliant career opportunity for a qualified and/or experienced Mechanical Technician at our Assembly, Service and Rebuilds Plant, located at Dandenong South.

What you will do in the role

• Carry out mechanical inspections, service, repairs and major rebuilds on elevated work platforms and diggers
• Monitor and record part usage
• Manufacture and repair hydraulic systems
• Assist in prototype building of new machines
• On site and in house breakdowns and repairs
• Work in assembly as required.

• Detail orientated with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Experience in fitting and/or mechanical tasks
• Experience in working on installation and repair of hydraulic systems (Desirable)
• Understand and interpret circuit diagrams to search for faulty parts and other components,
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work as part of team and autonomously
• Current Drivers Licence
• Truck Licence and/or Forklift Licence (Desirable)
