Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Technician to work on a contract basis. This role involves performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including machinery and production equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Inspect and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components as part of preventive maintenance programs.

• Follow standardized procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Document maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a related mechanical maintenance role.

• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in an industrial setting.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
