Mechanical Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine mechanical maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Identify and rectify basic mechanical faults in machinery.
• Perform machine fitting, assembly, dismantling, and installation work.
• Check and replace bearings, shafts, belts, chains, couplings, and seals.
• Carry out basic alignment and lubrication of machines.
• Use basic fitting tools and measuring instruments safely.
• Read and understand basic mechanical drawings.
• Attend machine breakdowns and support quick fault rectification.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the maintenance area.
• Maintain basic maintenance and breakdown records.
• Support senior technicians/engineers in installation and commissioning activities.
