Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Conduct preventive maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs)

🔧 Inspect and maintain STP equipment including:

• Pumps
• Check valves
• Butterfly valves
• Aeration systems

🔧 Inspect motors and blowers to ensure proper operation and assess bearing conditions

🔧 Monitor blower oil levels and perform routine lubrication checks

🔧 Perform declogging of:

• Submersible pumps
• Check valves
• Butterfly valves
• Foot valves

🔧 Conduct Chlorine Contact Tank (CCT) cleaning and routine housekeeping activities

🔧 Operate and monitor STP processes to ensure optimal system performance

🔧 Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform corrective maintenance as needed

🔧 Adhere to established SOPs and safety protocols during all maintenance activities

Qualifications

✅ Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent technical course

✅ Experience in the operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs)

✅ Knowledge and hands-on experience in overhauling:

• Roots Blowers
• Submersible Pumps

✅ TESDA Certification is an advantage

✅ Good communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Willing to conduct field work and site visits within NCR

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor
