Mechanical Technician

Intellivation is seeking a top-notch individual with strong mechanical skills to join our team. Intellivation is a locally owned and operated company with a fast-growing team that designs and builds innovative machinery used in the manufacturing of high-tech products for industries including flexible electronics, batteries, solar, medical devices, and more. We deliver high quality systems and solutions for our customers with our dedicated and creative team. Our machines are comprised of many mechanical, electrical, fluid, vacuum and plasma systems. Engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and testing are all performed on site at our Colorado factory. Intellivation operates in a fast paced, growing, small business environment which means you will be involved in all phases of projects from conception to completion.

The Mechanical Technician role would be part of a production team responsible for assembling, testing and providing solutions for customers by delivering high quality state-of-the-art equipment. We are looking for reliable, precision and detail-oriented individuals that are willing to support our mission for excellence. Tasks

· Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience including problem solving skills

· Precision assembly & test of high-tech equipment.

· Read & understand schematics, drawings, and complex instructions.

· Use of calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools.

· Diagnose and trouble shoot mechanical issues in a timely manner.

· Precision assembly and test of large and small stainless steel, aluminum, and steel machined and welded parts, per drawings.

· Assembly, test and calibrate mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and other systems.

· Helium leak testing completed systems and subassemblies.

· Maintain accurate and detailed records

· Support operations planning and delegation of tasks

· Work with cross functional team including engineering and machining department.

· Knowledge or experience with High Vacuum systems (preferred).

· Operate forklift (preferred).

· Occasional travel to customer sites to install and service machines (preferred).

Requirements

· Smart, creative and innovative.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

· Independent worker, able to work without supervision

· A background or interest in physics, mechanical engineering or engineering technology or related field is a plus

· Prior work experience in manufacturing or production a plus.

· Willingness to deliver precision and quality work

· Can-do, team-based attitude.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in MS (Excel) and ERP experience

· 5+ years of relevant experience a plus

· Hands on problem solver.

· Lift 50-80lbs.

Position Details

· Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

· Availability is immediate.

· This is a full-time hourly position.
