Mechanical Truck Assembler

Production & Assembly Operator – Truck Axles

Hands-on work. Great team. Learn new skills. Build something that matters.

We are currently seeking a Production & Assembly Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment specialising in the assembly of truck axles.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assembling brake and suspension components onto truck axles
• Using a range of hand and power tools
• Operating overhead cranes to safely move components
• Operating forklifts as required
• Following production processes, work instructions and quality standards
• Reading and interpreting basic drawings and assembly instructions
• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
• Taking responsibility for the quality of your own work

• Be reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Hold a current forklift licence and/or have overhead crane experience (highly regarded)

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a genuine team attitude.

Room to Learn & Grow

This isn't a role where you'll necessarily be doing the same thing forever.

As you gain experience and demonstrate your capability, you'll have the opportunity to be cross-trained across different areas of the business, including additional production and warehouse functions.

If you're keen to learn, there's plenty of opportunity to broaden your skills, develop new capabilities and become a valuable all-round member of the team.

What’s on Offer

• Stable ongoing work with a well-established manufacturing operation
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:06pm
• Hands-on work with opportunities to develop your skills
