Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (M&E) Entry Level

Our client is a marine and offshore industry . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer & Electrical Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities for Electrical Engineer:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain technical drawings, electrical schematics, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software.
• Work closely with project teams to provide technical and engineering support throughout project execution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to resolve electrical and system-related issues.
• Ensure all electrical designs, installations, and maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer:

• Conduct market and user research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and product requirements.
• Develop design concepts, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD and SolidWorks.
• Create detailed mechanical designs, including engineering drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, quality, and performance requirements.
• Evaluate and select suitable materials, components, and manufacturing processes based on product requirements, cost, and manufacturability.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.

• Familiar with Switchboard and knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, and control systems is preferred.

• Experience in mechanical or product design will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in CAD software, SolidWorks and AutoCAD
