Mechanically Inclined Problem Solver - Field Service Technician

Overview

Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy figuring out how things work, and love the satisfaction of solving a problem?

Assured Security is looking for a hands-on problem solver to join our team! As a Field Service Technician, you'll work directly with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial locks, doors, and hardware.

You don't need to be a locksmith to get started. We'll provide training and the tools you need to succeed. What matters most is your mechanical aptitude, ability to think on your feet, and willingness to take ownership of your work.

If you enjoy variety, independence, and finding solutions that make a difference for customers, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial locks, doors, and door hardware.
• Install commercial locks, hardware, and related security products.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and solve problems.
• Plan and manage your daily schedule and assigned projects.
• Conduct site assessments and help develop solutions for customer projects.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoyment of hands-on work.
• Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to organize your day, manage priorities, and follow through.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Willingness to learn new technology, products, and techniques.

Preferred: Previous mechanical, construction, carpentry, or related hands-on experience.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background, drug, and DMV checks.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
