We’re expanding and looking for a hands-on Rubber/Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team in Lithgow, NSW. What you’ll be doing

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees, and trades staff
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient site operations
• Plan and oversee shutdowns, inspections, and audits
• Work hands-on when needed – pulley, bearing, and mechanical maintenance
• Drive a safety-first culture – ensure full compliance with WHSE standards
• Engage directly with clients to maintain strong relationships and high service standards
• Promote reliability and continuous improvement across all site activities

What we’re looking for

• Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical
  (Fabrication-qualified applicants also considered)
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• Leadership skills – ability to coach, mentor, and lead by example
• Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills
• Commitment to WHSE excellence and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing site conditions, and manage multiple tasks
