Job Description

Marcor Industrial Services is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Mechanic/Driver to join our team. This position will help maintain and repair company vehicles, trailers, pumps, and other equipment while also assisting with driving and transportation needs as needed.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and willing to learn. Experience is preferred, but we are also willing to consider someone with strong mechanical ability who is interested in expanding their skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, including oil changes and brake repairs
• Diagnose and repair trailer lights and basic electrical issues
• Maintain and repair pumps, valves, fittings, and related equipment
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and equipment and identify needed repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance to keep equipment in safe working condition
• Drive company vehicles and transport equipment or materials as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn the operation, maintenance, and repair of new pumps and specialized equipment
• Follow company safety procedures and properly care for company tools and equipment
• Assist with other mechanical, shop, or transportation duties as needed

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with vehicle, trailer, or equipment maintenance preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Ability and willingness to learn new pumps, equipment, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform basic repairs
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to safety and equipment care
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a mechanic/shop position

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
