Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team in Cresson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with experience in various systems including HVAC, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform repairs on shocks, struts, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician, preferably with a focus on diesel or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with soldering techniques for electrical repairs is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
