About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Mechanic / Service Technician to join our growing dealership in Leongatha.

This is a hands-on role involving the servicing, repair, and assembly of a wide range of agricultural machinery. You will work both in the workshop and out in the field, supporting our customers and ensuring high standards of workmanship and service.

Key responsibilities: About You

• Service, repair, and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors, balers, mowers, and spray units
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently
• Carry out pre-delivery builds of new equipment
• Provide onsite repairs and build strong customer relationships
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards
• Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop
• Participate in training and development opportunities
• Assist with overtime and participate in on-call rosters during peak season

About You

• Qualified Mechanic with strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Motivated to learn and grow within the industry

Essential skills:

• Qualified Mechanic
• Manual Drivers license

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience with Agricultural machinery highly regarded
• Forklift License preferred but not essential
• MR Truck license an advantage
