Mechatronics Engineer (วิศวกรเมคคาทรอนิกส์)

About the role:
We are seeking a talented Mechatronics Engineer to join KEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Lamphun. This is a full-time position that sits at the intersection of mechanical engineering, electronics, and control systems, offering a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that combine mechanical design with intelligent automation solutions. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, designing, and optimising integrated systems that drive our company's technological advancement and competitive edge in the market.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechatronic systems and components, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software elements
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses for new mechatronic projects and system improvements
• Create detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and schematics using CAD software and simulation tools
• Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of mechatronic systems to ensure they meet performance specifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing mechatronic systems and equipment
• Optimise system performance by conducting simulations, analysis, and implementing improvements
• Document technical specifications, project progress, and maintain comprehensive project records
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements

About you:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of mechanical parts design, such as Jigs, Fixtures, and Tooling
• Able to use SolidWorks or other CAD software (SolidWorks proficiency will be given special consideration)
• Able to read and prepare 2D/3D engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of production processes and automation systems
• Knowledge of or interest in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke concepts
• Basic understanding of engineering problem analysis (Root Cause Analysis / CAPA)
• Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare documentation and communicate technical information clearly
• Excellent basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Internship experience in an industrial or electronics manufacturing plant, or having completed a project or thesis related to machine design, process improvement, or automation systems, will be given special consideration
• Able to read technical English
• Fluency in English is highly desirable; Korean language proficiency is a adventage
