Mechatronics Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical / mechatronics engineering.
• 3 years of experience in design of mechanical parts and devices.
• Technophile, performance-oriented and resilient.
• Independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working.

• English: good technical reading skills, communication in an international team.

Responsibilities:

• Development of mechanics/mechatronic parts, subassemblies and devices for laboratory and analytical technology products.
• Cost-effective and timely project work in a team, taking into account standardized ISO processes, up to series production and subsequent product maintenance.
• Implementation and creation of design documents as 3D/2D design of assembly groups and single parts, bill of materials and cost of production calculations.
• Participation in the creation of operating instructions.
• Implementation of design specifications and compliance with IKA CI guidelines.
• Compliance with all project-relevant standards and guidelines, such as laboratory equipment, machinery, hazardous substances, EMC and low-voltage guidelines.
• Carrying out hazard, fault and risk analyses.
• Development and testing of concept ideas, functional samples and prototypes.
• Participation and collaboration in part modifications and initial sampling of new and series parts.
• International, team-oriented collaboration with everyone involved in the project.
