With operations across North America, Europe, China, South America, and India, you’ll work hands-on in our Bowdon shop with support from a highly experienced international team.

  • Variety of builds (not one station all day)
  • Work directly with engineering and project leads
  • Develop real automation-adjacent skills: sensors, I/O validation, PLC/HMI workflows, troubleshooting
  • Clear growth path for motivated employees (Lead Builder, Integration Specialist, Service/Commissioning Engineer)

Location

  • Bowdon, GA, USA
  • Commute/Relocation: Must be able to reliably commute to Bowdon, GA (or relocate prior to start date if needed)

Education Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in electronics, manufacturing, engineering, or mechatronics (or equivalent experience)

What you will do

  • Assemble and wire industrial equipment and subassemblies using build documents, drawings, and checklists
  • Install mechanical and electromechanical components (hardware, guards, mounts, sensors, motors/actuators, cable management, enclosures)
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics as needed
  • Load approved programs and configurations to PLCs and HMIs
    • Platforms include Allen-Bradley and Siemens
    • No PLC programming from scratch required (this role is focused is loading and validation)
  • Validate operation and integration
    • Verify machine I/O to the PLC (point-to-point checks, sensor/actuator verification)
    • Verify machine functionality
    • Confirm safety devices/interlocks and HMI functionality
    • Run functional checks using validation checklists
  • Troubleshoot build/integration issues (fit, wiring, sensors, setup) and QA testing
  • Document builds, settings, and validation results; communicate status/issues clearly to engineers and project managers
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and take care of tools and equipment
  • Follow ISO quality principles during assembly and final verification
  • Perform occasional soldering and light electrical assembly tasks as needed

What we’re looking for (required)

  • 1+ year experience in electromechanical/mechatronics assembly, integration, installation, maintenance, commissioning, or similar
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Comfortable working with PLC-controlled equipment (loading programs/configs, basic diagnostics, and validation)
  • Able to stay organized, follow checklists, and work independently after training
  • Basic Windows skills (documentation, spreadsheets, file management)
  • Clear communication and teamwork mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC/HMI workflows (upload/download, parameter setup, basic diagnostics)
  • Machining experience; drill press/mill/lathe familiarity; light fabrication or rework
  • QC/inspection or inventory experience

What We Can Offer You

  • Flexible work hours
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Medical benefits
  • Retirement benefits
  • Collaborative culture with teammates who push each other to improve
  • Yearly trips to Canada for training, business planning, technical improvement meetings, and team events
