高压电池机械电子测试工程师 Mechatronics Test Engineer, HV Battery

THE ROLE

We are hiring test engineers for our Reliability and Test team. We are interested in candidates with all levels of experience, but will prioritize strong problem solvers and communicators that drive projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle powertrain technologies.
• Interface with design, reliability, material scientists, quality, and service to identify failure modes and create design validation test plans.
• Collaborate with test technicians as peers to achieve test objectives.
• Design and fabricate test equipment for mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems.
• Perform component, system, and vehicle validation by simulating realistic and accelerated dynamic and environmental conditions.
• Identify and execute DOEs targeting new technologies or critical failures.
• Investigate device failures to drive product development and test improvement.
• Interface with and simulate complex vehicular systems to validate firmware/hardware interactions.
• Create novel ways to apply skills learned in the test lab to benefit the company and our products.

Requirements MUST

• Bachelor's degree or abve in Engineering
• Understanding of Statics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Dynamics and Vibration, Electricity and Magnetism, CAE, Measurement and Instrumentation, and Linear Circuits.
• Experience with object-oriented coding language
• Comfort with CAD software
• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• An appetite for technical challenges and strong problem solving skills.

Preferred

• 1+ years of experience with automotive component, system, or vehicle testing.
• 1+ years of experience with physical testing and analysis of mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems.
• Working understanding of Active Circuit Design, Energy Conversion, Power Electronics, Digital Circuits, Motor Drives
• Working understanding of Kinematics, Solid Mechanics, and FEA
• Working understanding of Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Fatigue and Failure Analysis.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, NI, or other data acquisition and analysis software.
• Experience with CAN communication and CAN analysis software.
• Experience with database integration, and data visualization.
• Design of test setups for mechanical and thermal performance testing, such as fixtures for shock and vibe testing.
• Experience creating and executing design validation plans and test methods to validate performance requirements.
