Media Production Operator

We seek a knowledgeable, creative, and meticulous individual to join our team as a Media Production Operator for our weekly Worship Service and special events. This position requires a high level of responsibility, great attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills to ensure that our worship services and special events run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate works well with others, is self-motivated and productive, takes constructive insights from the team, and maintains a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Crucially, the candidate should possess an intentional spiritual life (preferred, not required).

Primary Requirements:

• Content Creation & Management: Upload song lyrics and scripture weekly.
• Design custom, high-quality sermon graphics ( no AI-generated graphics).
• Presentation Execution: Oversee the ProPresenter schedule and functions, including setting up and running a full schedule of song lyrics, videos, graphics, sermon notes, and other visual elements for Sunday Worship Services and special events.
• Streaming & Broadcast: Manage recording and live streaming services. Oversee starting and stopping the livestream on required platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and the church website, if applicable) using Wirecast and Stream Deck.
• Distribution & Archiving: Create and share links to live-streamed services. Duplicate video data to share with the Marketing Specialist and for archival purposes.
• Make sure the overflow room has sound and visual.
• Post-Production: Edit and post videos online to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and the church website as needed or required.
• Team Leadership: Train and equip church volunteers to operate the production software and streaming tools during worship services and events in your absence.
• Service Excellence: Follow the pastor's directions and stage/schedule cues during services to provide a distraction-free worship experience.
• Professional Development: Stay abreast of ProPresenter, Canva Wirecast, and Stream Deck updates and training.
• Other duties as assigned by the pastoral staff

Professional Background:

• High school graduate or equivalent, ideally paired with postsecondary study or certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar media production role.
• Proven ProPresenter 7, Canva, Zoom, Wirecast, and Stream Deck user experience.
• Experience working in a church environment.
• Able to work effectively in team settings, communicate clearly, and take direction constructively.

Pay: $23.99 - $28.89 per hour
