Medicaid Billing Technician

New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently hiring a full-time Medicaid Billing Technician in the Business and Finance Department.

This position is responsible for processing Medicaid billing, reviewing records, and performs reconciliations in accordance with state regulations. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, problem-solving and customer service skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office and work well with a team. Periodic travel for meetings and trainings is required.

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and at least two years of experience in office administration, billing, medical billing, or accounting. Certified Professional Biller or Coding Specialist certification is preferred.
