About Roddy MedSpa:
Roddy MedSpa is a hospitality-first medical aesthetics practice in Danvers, Massachusetts. Since 2017, we've built our practice around one belief:
Hospitality is our best treatment.
Our patients come to us for Botox, fillers, lasers, advanced skincare, and other aesthetic treatments. But clinical excellence is only part of what we believe makes a great medical practice.
We want patients to feel remembered, not processed. Educated, not sold to. Cared for, not rushed.
That philosophy has shaped the practice we've built, and we're looking for someone who wants to help us take it even further.
This Isn't a Traditional Medical Assistant Role
We are intentionally combining two roles that are often separated in medical practices: clinical support and patient experience.
You'll work alongside our providers throughout the clinical day, preparing rooms and patients, assisting where appropriate, anticipating what providers need, and helping appointments stay on schedule.
But your job doesn't end when the treatment does.
You may join a patient toward the end of her appointment, help her check out, reserve her next visit, review provider-approved aftercare, help with skincare her provider recommended, and make sure she leaves feeling genuinely taken care of.
Then you'll reset the room and help prepare for what's next.
It's active. It's varied. And you'll have meaningful ownership over how the day runs.

What You'll Do:
Your responsibilities may include:
- Work directly alongside our injectors and aesthetic providers
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for appointments
- Turn, clean, stock, and reset rooms between patients
- Assist providers during treatments when appropriate and within your scope
- Anticipate provider needs and help the clinical schedule stay on time
- Maintain clinical supplies, inventory, and treatment-room readiness
- Help coordinate seamless patient flow throughout the practice
- Transition patients from treatment through checkout
- Process payments and help patients reserve their next appointment
- Assist with skincare purchases and treatment plans recommended by providers
- Educate patients about Beauty Bank when appropriate
- Review provider-approved post-treatment instructions
- Welcome patients and help create a warm, polished experience from arrival through departure
- Support calls, texts, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities during clinical downtime
- Notice opportunities to improve a patient's experience and act on them without waiting to be asked
What You'll Get to Learn:
If you're interested in medical aesthetics, this is an opportunity to learn the industry from inside the treatment room.
You'll work alongside experienced aesthetic providers and gain exposure to injectables, skin health, lasers and energy-based treatments, advanced skincare, patient consultations, treatment planning, and the operational side of a growing medical aesthetics practice.
You do not need previous medical aesthetics experience.
We can teach aesthetics.
What is much harder to teach is curiosity, initiative, warmth, attention to detail, and the instinct to take care of people.
Who We're Looking For:
Medical Assistant training and/or relevant MA experience is preferred, with two years of experience minimum. Medical aesthetics experience is a plus, but it is not what will ultimately determine whether you're successful here.
You'll probably thrive at Roddy if you're:
- Warm, personable, and genuinely enjoy working with patients
- Organized enough to keep track of the details without being reminded
- Someone who sees what needs to happen next
- Calm when the day gets busy
- Comfortable switching between clinical and hospitality responsibilities
- Curious and excited to learn medical aesthetics
- Professional, polished, and discreet
- Comfortable learning technology, scheduling systems, and payment processing
- Willing to take ownership when something goes wrong
- The kind of teammate who helps without first asking, "Is that my job?"
You'll Know You're Good at This Job When...
- A provider realizes you've already prepared what she was about to ask for.
- A returning patient is surprised that you remembered something she told you at her last visit.
- The schedule gets busy, but patients never feel the busyness.
- A treatment room is ready before anyone has to ask.
- A nervous new patient feels more comfortable because of the way you treated her.
- And at the end of the day, the providers you supported and the patients you cared for both had a better experience because you were there.
That's what hospitality means to us.
Think You Might Be Our Person?
We're not looking for someone who simply wants another MA job.
We're looking for someone who wants to become really good at taking care of people and is excited by the opportunity to build a career in medical aesthetics.
If you read this listing and thought, “This sounds like me,” we'd like to meet you.
