Job Description:

PrimaCARE, P.C.is searching for reliable Medical Assistants in the following divisions to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practices running efficiently.

Vascular Surgery – North Providence, RI

Sleep Lab - Somerset, MA

Primary Care – Fall River, MA

Gynecology – Fall River, MA

Cardiology – Fall River, MA

Our Medical Assistants will work directly with healthcare practice staff to ensure excellent patient care. Essential functions and duties include:

· Verify patient information by interviewing patient

· Record medical history into the Electronic Medical Record (eCW)

· Confirm purpose of visit

· Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature;

· Report patient history summary

· Assist in basic examinations

· Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments

· Order supplies and stock patient care areas

· Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environments by establishing and following standards and procedures

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

· Medical Assistant Certification

· High level of professionalism

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task

· Strong customer service skills

· Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, preferably e Clinical Works

· Bilingual a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
