Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant performs phlebotomy, rooms patients, coordinates labs, and manages patient communication in a physician-led functional medicine practice. This role supports both clinical care and efficient clinic flow in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vitals and histories
• Perform confident, efficient blood draws and specimen processing
• Order labs, imaging, and referrals per protocol
• Review incoming lab results and route appropriately in EMR
• Support prescription refill workflows
• Assist with clinical documentation and transcription
• Manage patient portal messages

Patient Flow & Communication

• Answer phones and greet patients professionally
• Reinforce care plans and assist with patient checkout
• Help maintain smooth daily clinic flow

Inventory & Administrative Support

• Maintain organized supplement inventory and perform monthly counts
• Assist with dispensing supplements and preparing Fullscript carts
• Support back-office workflows and operational processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
