What they need
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90048
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Hours: 40 hrs./week (Depending on the hours approved by Client).
Required Qualifications:
- HSD/GED
- Flu vaccination (no exemptions/no declinations
- BLS (AHA or ARC only)
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
- 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
- Experience with CS-Link/Epic
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
